Diverting Excess Water
WHO WE ARE
Water Stabilization Initiative is a non-profit organization dedicated to redirecting flood waters in preparation for periods of drought.
We are a new organization gearing up to work with nations to help mitigate disasters posed by excesses of water.

Our purpose is to capture flood waters within nations and then clean and store the water that will be used during a season of drought.

As our name implies, we aim to stabilize the water supply in nations afflicted by water disasters. Even though nations may experience either too much or too little water, our organization's design is to stabilize these water resources and help a nation cope during these natural disasters.

WHAT WE DO

During a period of flooding, our team will deploy to nations experiencing an excess of water. We then plan to divert, store, and clean that water in preparation of a period of drought. We strive to be a preventative organization that helps deal with droughts, upending the reactionary stage that would accompany a nation's lack of water resources.

Our research has shown that more and more countries are being exposed to extremities of water, either too much or too little. While one region is inundated with water flows, another region is having trouble finding water just a few short months later. Water that would otherwise move downstream and empty into the sea is instead collected by our team and local civilians. This outreach helps to utilize what was meant for destruction and use it for good.

Not only are we providing water for human consumption, but we also envision providing water for both plants and animals.
This holistic approach helps a nation not only cope, but also thrive during this national disaster by providing a critical resource for their economic output as well as sustaining the livelihoods of its' citizens.
